We were very lucky to be able to visit the villages of Cinque Terre by ferry as rough seas can make this option impossible. We opted to wait until the final stop on route to disembark. The plan was to disembark at each of the villages of Montorosso al Mare, Vernazza, Manarolo and Riomaggiore but we only had time to visit the first two if we also wanted to disembark on our return at Portovenere. Time flies when you're having fun!
