After the adventure that was filing our "denouncement" at the local Carabineiri station with regard to the robbery, we were off to Montepulciano, famous for it's wine and olive oil. We stopped for lunch at a roadside osteria called The Pit Stop, where I enjoyed possibly the best pasta I was to experience on the trip.
We toured through a grotto beneath the walled town where wine has been stored for hundred of years.
